At HyperLiquid Developer Company ("we," "our," or "us"), we are committed to providing high-quality blockchain development services and ensuring client satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which we provide refunds for our services and products. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
1. Consulting Services
1.1 Initial Consultation
For our initial paid consultation services:
- If you cancel more than 48 hours before a scheduled consultation, we will provide a full refund.
- If you cancel within 48 hours of a scheduled consultation, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
- No refund will be provided for missed consultations without prior notice.
- If we are unable to provide the consultation as scheduled, we will offer to reschedule or provide a full refund at your discretion.
1.2 Consultation Packages
For pre-paid consultation packages:
- Unused consultation sessions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis, less a 15% administrative fee.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the initial purchase.
- No refunds will be issued for consultation packages after 90 days from the purchase date, regardless of whether all sessions have been used.
2. Development Projects
2.1 Fixed-Price Projects
For fixed-price blockchain development projects:
- Project Initiation Phase: If you cancel the project before we begin development work but after paying the initial deposit, we will refund 70% of the deposit amount to cover the resources already allocated.
- During Development: Once development has begun, refunds will be calculated based on the percentage of work completed:
- Less than 25% completion: 50% refund of payments made
- 25-50% completion: 25% refund of payments made
- Over 50% completion: No refund
- Completion and Delivery: No refunds will be issued after the final deliverables have been provided.
The determination of project completion percentage will be based on the milestones defined in the project scope document and will be reasonably assessed by our project management team.
2.2 Time and Materials Projects
For projects billed on a time and materials basis:
- No refunds will be provided for hours already worked and billed.
- Any pre-paid hours that have not been used will be refunded in full if the project is terminated.
- If you wish to terminate an ongoing time and materials project, we require 14 days' written notice during which billable work may continue unless otherwise specified.
3. Smart Contract Audits
3.1 Pre-Audit Phase
For smart contract audit services:
- If you cancel an audit before we begin the review process, we will refund 80% of any payments made.
- Once the audit has begun, the following refund structure applies:
- Within the first 24 hours: 50% refund
- After 24 hours but before the delivery of preliminary findings: 25% refund
- After preliminary findings have been shared: No refund
3.2 Post-Audit Support
For post-audit support services:
- Unused support hours purchased as part of an audit package may be refunded at 75% of their value if requested within 30 days of the audit completion.
- After 30 days, unused support hours are non-refundable but will remain available for use for up to 6 months.
4. Training and Workshops
4.1 Public Workshops
For public blockchain development workshops and training sessions:
- Full refund if cancellation is made 14 or more days before the event.
- 50% refund if cancellation is made 7-13 days before the event.
- No refund for cancellations less than 7 days before the event.
- You may transfer your registration to another person at no cost if you cannot attend.
4.2 Private Training
For private corporate training:
- Cancellation more than 30 days before the scheduled training: 90% refund
- Cancellation 15-30 days before: 50% refund
- Cancellation less than 15 days before: No refund
- Rescheduling may be available subject to our calendar availability and may incur additional fees.
5. Subscription Services
5.1 Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscription services (e.g., maintenance plans, ongoing support):
- No partial refunds are provided for the current billing month if you cancel mid-cycle.
- Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- If we fail to deliver the promised services, a pro-rated refund may be issued for the affected period.
5.2 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscription services:
- Cancellations within the first 30 days: 70% refund of the annual fee
- Cancellations after 30 days but within the first 90 days: 40% refund
- Cancellations after 90 days: No refund
6. Quality Guarantee and Exceptions
6.1 Quality Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If our deliverables do not meet the specifications outlined in our agreement, we will:
- Make reasonable efforts to remedy the issue at no additional cost within a reasonable timeframe.
- If we cannot remedy the issue, we may offer a partial refund commensurate with the severity of the deficiency.
Any quality concerns must be reported in writing within 14 days of delivery to be eligible for this guarantee.
6.2 Exceptions
Our refund policy does not apply in the following circumstances:
- Changes to project requirements after the agreement has been signed that materially affect the scope, timeline, or complexity of the work.
- Issues arising from third-party services, platforms, or infrastructure not under our direct control.
- Problems resulting from your failure to implement our recommendations or from modifications made to our deliverables by you or third parties.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, or widespread technological disruptions.
7. Refund Process
7.1 Requesting a Refund

- Include your name, the service purchased, date of purchase, and reason for requesting a refund.
- Provide any relevant documentation or information to support your request.
7.2 Refund Processing
If your refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase when possible.
- Processing time for refunds is typically 7-14 business days, depending on your payment provider.
- For payments made via wire transfer, additional banking information may be required.
8. Amendments to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
For services purchased under a previous version of this policy, the refund terms in effect at the time of purchase will apply.
